By creating an account or using Vocaboodie, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use means you accept the latest version.

Vocaboodie is a vocabulary learning app for readers. You take photos of highlighted words in books, and we detect those words, translate them, create example sentences, and schedule them for review. We offer a free plan with monthly limits and a Premium plan with higher limits and no ads. The service is provided on a best-effort basis and we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes.

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up, and you must be at least 13 years old to use Vocaboodie. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us right away.

You may use Vocaboodie only for lawful, personal learning purposes. You may not:

• Upload photos you do not have the right to share, or that contain illegal or harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or its infrastructure.
• Use automated tools to create accounts, send requests, or extract data at scale.
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Premium is a paid subscription that gives you higher monthly limits for captures and new words, and removes ads. Subscriptions are handled by our payment processor.

• Billing. You will be charged the stated price at the start of each billing period until you cancel. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Plan limits. Both free and Premium plans have limits. If you reach your limit, you will need to wait for the next billing cycle or upgrade. We may adjust limits with notice.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Price changes. If we change subscription prices, we will notify you in advance. The new price applies to your next billing cycle unless you cancel before it starts.

Vocaboodie owns the software, designs, trademarks, and content we create. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our permission. The books you read and the words you highlight remain the property of their respective copyright holders. We do not claim ownership of the underlying books or text.

You keep ownership of the photos you capture, the words you save, and the decks you build. By uploading photos, you give us a limited license to process them so we can detect highlighted words, generate translations, and store your learning content. You can delete your content and account at any time. We will remove your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep limited records for legal reasons.

Vocaboodie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted service. Translations, example sentences, and review schedules are generated automatically and may contain errors. You use them at your own discretion.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Vocaboodie is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you did not pay. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You can stop using Vocaboodie and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, or if we need to stop providing the service. If your account is terminated, your right to use the app ends immediately, but your obligations under these terms survive.

We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in the law, new features, or how we run the service. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the date at the top and, when appropriate, notify you by email or inside the app. Your continued use after the changes means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], to be finalized. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
